Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and browned
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter until golden and nutty, then cool slightly.
  3. Mix browned butter with sugars, add eggs and vanilla, then combine with dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Cool cookies on wire rack before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
