Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and heat for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine pasta, marinara sauce, half of the Parmesan, and half of the mozzarella. Mix well.
- Add seasoned chicken to the pasta mixture and mix until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with basil or parsley, if using.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a high-quality marinara sauce. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the casserole.
