  • 3 ripe bananas bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, sugar, oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, then fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or a dash of cinnamon.
