Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup ripe mashed banana around 3 medium bananas
  • cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • cup sugar
Add-ins
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips plus more for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips, then divide batter into 12 muffin liners.
  5. Top with extra chocolate chips and bake for 17-19 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool muffins on a wire rack before serving.
