- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars, then add egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Add flour and baking powder; mix just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 20-30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the pecans before adding.
