Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 1 cup festive sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; cream butter and sugars, then add egg and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry and wet ingredients; fold in sprinkles and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop dough onto baking sheet, bake for 10-12 minutes, then cool.

Notes

For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on a wire rack.
