Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fruit jam raspberry, strawberry, or apricot
  • optional powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light; add vanilla and almond extracts.
  3. Mix in flour and salt to form a soft dough.
  4. Shape into 1-inch balls, place on sheet, and indent centers.
  5. Fill indent with jam and bake 12-15 minutes until golden. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Ensure not to overfill the jam to prevent spilling during baking.
