Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Wet ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed bananas about 1 1/2 cups mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Swirl & topping
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour half of batter into the pan.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for swirl. Add half on top of batter, then pour remaining batter and swirl with cinnamon mixture.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or a cream cheese glaze.
