Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
