Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then mix in vanilla, salt, and almond flour.
- Add flour gradually to form dough, chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough, cut out shapes, and make a smaller cutout in half of the cookies.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden, then cool.
- Spread jam on solid cookies, top with cutouts, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
Notes
Chill the dough well for easier handling and better cookies.
