Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the meatloaf and place in a baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top.
- Bake for 60 minutes.
- Boil potatoes until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
- Drain the water from potatoes.
- Add milk and butter to potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Mash it all together.
- Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the meatloaf and serve with mashed potatoes.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meatloaf mixture.
