Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 4 cups chicken broth
Meat & Proteins
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
Seasonings & Sauces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
Other
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method
 

  1. In a large pot, sauté ginger and garlic in sesame oil until fragrant.
  2. Add shredded cabbage, carrots, and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in shredded chicken and soy sauce; simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of sesame oil just before serving.
