Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; cream butter and sugars, then add egg and vanilla.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients; fold in chocolate chips and marshmallows if using.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes; cool on wire rack.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let sit for a few minutes before transferring.
