Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cream softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla, almond extract (if using), and salt; mix well.
- Gradually mix in flour until just combined, then fold in cranberries.
- Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool before serving.
