  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cream softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla, almond extract (if using), and salt; mix well.
  4. Gradually mix in flour until just combined, then fold in cranberries.
  5. Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool before serving.
