Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and almond extracts, mix well.
  4. Gradually mix in flour and salt until just combined, then fold in cranberries.
  5. Scoop dough onto baking sheet, bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
