Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Add-ins
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • as needed Plastic wrap or treat bags for wrapping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine dry ingredients and gradually mix into wet. Fold in candies and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop tablespoon-sized balls onto parchment, bake 10-12 mins until edges are golden. Cool and dust with powdered sugar. Wrap for gifting.

Notes

Ensure not to overbake for soft centers.
