Ingredients
  

Rice and Water
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, peas)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Method
 

  1. Rinse rice until water runs clear.
  2. Combine rice, water, olive oil, and salt in a pot; bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Sauté vegetables in olive oil until tender.
  5. Fluff rice, add vegetables, drizzle with soy sauce, and serve.
