Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cream butter and brown sugar, then add molasses, egg, vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients. Chill dough 30 minutes.
- Shape dough into balls, coat with powdered sugar, place on baking sheet.
- Bake 10-12 minutes, cool before serving.
Notes
Chilling the dough makes it easier to handle and shapes better.
