- Heat a wok or large non-stick pan. Spray with cooking spray, then cook sliced onions and chicken until chicken is fully cooked, about 5-10 minutes.
- While cooking, steam broccoli until tender. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, corn starch, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce mixture into the pan with chicken and onions. Stir until sauce thickens and turns a darker, thicker consistency, about 5 minutes.
- Add cooked broccoli to the pan and toss to coat with sauce. Serve hot.
