  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, plus more for dusting
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Cream butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, then add vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, nuts, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes until bottoms are golden. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
