Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- Mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet, mix until just combined.
- Stir in walnuts and maple syrup. Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.

For extra flavor, toast the walnuts before adding.
