Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls

  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 16 ounces ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion sliced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and break apart.
  3. Add onions and bell peppers. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables softened (5-7 minutes).
  4. Drain excess grease.
  5. Return skillet to medium heat. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Create 8 cheese circles on the baking sheet (1/4 cup each).
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool cheese circles for 1 minute.
  11. Place 2 tablespoons of beef mixture onto each cheese circle.
  12. Roll or fold the cheese around the filling.
  13. Cool for 2-3 minutes to set the shape.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the beef mixture.
