Method
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli pieces to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Combine cooked pasta with the broccoli mixture. Toss well to combine.
- Stir in grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm.
Notes
You can add a squeeze of lemon for extra freshness or substitute with other cheeses.
