Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9-inch round pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in mashed bananas and sour cream. Gently fold in nuts if using.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool before serving.
