Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- Whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and spices in a separate bowl.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture. Add nuts and chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour batter into pan. Bake for 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For vegan, substitute eggs with flax eggs (1 tbsp flaxseed + 3 tbsp water per egg).
