Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Mix dry ingredients; cream butter with vanilla. Combine all to form dough.
- Roll out dough, cut shapes, and cut smaller centers for tops.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool.
- Spread jam on solid cookies, top with cut-outs, and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Chill the dough if it becomes too soft for easier handling.
