Pigs In A Blanket

A classic appetizer featuring sausages wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 package cocktail sausages or hot dogs
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional mustard or ketchup for dipping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll dough and cut into triangles.
  2. Place a sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll up.
  3. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let cool slightly and serve with mustard or ketchup.

Notes

For a crispier crust, bake a few extra minutes.
