Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, almond extract, and salt; mix well.
- Gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough, then roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Cut out cookies, bake 10-12 minutes, then cool. Spread jam on solid cookies, top with cutouts, dust with powdered sugar.
