Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
wet ingredients
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
for decoration
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • for dusting powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix almond flour, sugars, and salt. Whisk egg white with almond and vanilla extracts.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients into a sticky dough. Form small balls and place on sheet.
  4. Press sliced almonds into each cookie and dust with powdered sugar.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until edges are golden. Cool before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
