Ingredients
  

Seafood
  • 1 pound large sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Pat scallops dry, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne.
  3. Add scallops to hot skillet; sear 2-3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. In same skillet, simmer heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, and lemon juice for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Return scallops to skillet, coat with sauce, cook 1 minute. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Ensure scallops are dry before searing for the best crust.
