Method
- Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Add sugar gradually and beat until stiff, glossy peaks form.
- Fold in vanilla, almond extract, cornstarch, and salt.
- Pipe snowflake shapes onto sheets and bake for 1.5-2 hours until dry.
- Cool, dust with powdered sugar, and add edible glitter before serving.
