  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz or 28 g)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (about 2 medium tomatoes)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 oz or 113 g)
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 2 cups tortilla chips (about 1 bag)

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water; simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Layer chopped lettuce in a large bowl; top with seasoned beef.
  4. Distribute tomatoes, cheese, and olives over the beef.
  5. Arrange tortilla chips around the salad; dollop sour cream and guacamole on top.
