Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 24 pieces hershey's kisses, unwrapped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then mix in vanilla, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add flour gradually to form a soft dough, then shape into balls and place on sheet.
  4. Indent centers of cookies, bake for 10-12 minutes, then press a Hershey's Kiss into each.
