Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook sausage until browned; set aside.
- Sauté onion, celery, and garlic until softened.
- Mix bread, sausage, vegetables, broth, butter, herbs, salt, pepper, parsley, and eggs.
- Transfer to a greased dish, cover, and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15-20 minutes until golden.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or a handful of dried cranberries before baking.
