  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Cream butter and sugar, then mix in eggnog, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture.
  4. Drop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Cool cookies and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
